John Fox to meet with Brian Urlacher, Mike Ditka

Chicago Bears coach John Fox has revealed that he will meet with both Brian Urlacher and Mike Ditka in order to "make things right" with the duo.

Urlacher has been estranged from the franchise since March 2013 when contract negotiations with former general manager Phil Emery fell apart.

"I know Brian, and we are going to make things right with him," Fox told reporters.

"I'm excited about meeting with him. Both [new Bears GM] Ryan [Pace] and I are."

Urlacher was essentially issued a take-it-or-leave-it ultimatum after he turned down a one-year extension from the Bears following the 2012 regular season.

Meanwhile, Fox also insisted that he would speak with Ditka as he noted that the former Bears coach and personal friend knows Chicago "way better than I do at this point".
