Doug Marrone: 'Ronnie Wingo ready to run the ball'

Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone has revealed that running back Ronnie Wingo is ready for minutes on the team's offense.

Wingo has been on the active roster since October, but now with the release of Tashard Choice the coach intends to use him for more than just special teams action.

"I don't think it's a secret; we'll dress him this week," Marrone told the Bills' official website.

"He has the opportunity now to show us what he has, to get in there, but I think when you look at it on the other end of that spectrum, I've said this before that we're always looking to better our team and better our roster."

Wingo was brought to the club at the start of September as an undrafted rookie.
