Half-Time Report: Buffalo Bills in front against Houston Texans

Tyrod Taylor throws two touchdown passes and rushes for another as the Buffalo Bills open up a 21-13 lead over the Houston Texans.

The Buffalo Bills have headed into half time with a 21-13 lead over the Houston Texans after scoring three first-half touchdowns.

The Texans were unable to get a first down with the opening drive of the game, but Buffalo were on the scoreboard with their first possession, with Tyrod Taylor launching the ball down the sideline for Sammy Watkins to score the touchdown.

Houston tried to respond quickly, with Chris Polk breaking off a couple a tackles on the run, before Brian Hoyer picked out tight end Ryan Griffin in the corner of the endzone for the touchdown.

Taylor tried to work the ball to Watkins again on Buffalo's next possession, but the wide receiver could not reach it in time, but the quarterback stretched the ball into the endzone a couple of plays later with a run out wide.

Polk was involved again for the visitors, making a run out wide, dodging a couple of tackles before diving for the endzone to close the gap again for Houston.

Buffalo opened up the lead again before the break though as Taylor spotted Robert Woods lose his defender with a run to the back of the endzone, giving the quarterback his second touchdown pass of the game.
