Baltimore Ravens cut wide receiver Jacoby Jones

The Baltimore Ravens have released return specialist and wide receiver Jacoby Jones, just one year into a four-year deal.

The 30-year-old signed fresh terms with the Ravens last March, after he turned down the chance to speak to the New York Giants.

However, he had a disappointing season as he fumbled the ball four times, which was more than his previous three seasons combined.

Jones signed a £2.9m deal for 2014, and was expected to pick up a further £1.6m in 2015.
