Jackson: 'Ravens flat after power cut'

Asa Jackson has admitted that the Baltimore Ravens were flat after a powercut at the Superdome during the Super Bowl.

The Ravens had a 28-6 lead over the San Francisco 49ers before being delayed for over 30 minutes following a power failure at the New Orleans venue, allowing the 49ers to reduce Baltimore's lead to three points by the end of the fourth quarter.

The cornerback told reporters: "We came out a little bit flatter than we may have wanted to, but at the end of the day, we finished strong and we're world champions, man.

"We knew that nothing anyone else could do could beat us, we were the only ones who could beat ourselves. And for a minute there we tried to, but we finished strong and now it's history."

The Ravens beat the 49ers 34-31.
