The Baltimore Ravens progress in the NFL playoffs with a 24-9 victory at home to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Baltimore Ravens have progressed in the NFL playoffs with a 24-9 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at the M&T Bank Stadium.

The win, which was Ray Lewis's final home appearance for the Ravens, means that John Harbaugh's side will now face a trip to Denver Broncos next weekend.

With both sides failing to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter, Justin Tucker kicked the Ravens into the lead early in the second.

Adam Vinatieri got the visitors level two minutes before half time, but Vonte Leach touched down with 50 seconds left on the clock to put the hosts back in front.

Tucker had no problems kicking the extras before a second Vinatieri field goal made the score 10-6 to the Ravens at the break.

A Dennis Pitta touchdown extended the home side's advantage, only for Vinatieri to cut the deficit again at the end of the third quarter.

The Ravens put themselves on course for the win with five minutes gone in the final quarter as Tucker added the extra point following Anquan Boldin's touchdown.
