Suggs: 'Ravens not panicking after loss'

Terrell Suggs has said that the Baltimore Ravens are not panicking after losing their opening game of the 2013 NFL season.

The Super Bowl champions were beaten 49-27 by the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.

The linebacker told the team's website: "All this game tells us is that we aren't going to go 16-0. And I think the whole world knew that going in.

"Ain't no panic button. Ain't no worries. We got some things we have to fix and tighten up, obviously, but do we go in the tank and say the whole season is down the drain? No. It's one game. It's one game.

"Who do ya'll think we lined up against? I think they were favoured to win this game. They were already favoured to win the Super Bowl. It's a long season, and we're going to play it out."

The Ravens face the Cleveland Browns in their second game of the season next weekend.
