Steve Smith: "We take your spork and we break it"

New Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith talks up his team's pedigree as they prepare for the coming NFL season.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith has talked up his team's pedigree ahead of the coming NFL season.

The veteran NFL man has been speaking of his delight at joining the team, having spent the rest of his career at the Carolina Panthers, who brought him into the league through the Draft in 2001.

"When I look in the defensive meeting room and I see, 'Play like a Raven, Baltimore Ravens - We build bullies,' that's what I'm talking about," said Smith, according to CSN Baltimore.

"When I think of a Baltimore Raven, what I think of is you go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch.

"That's the Baltimore Raven way, that's the bully way and that's football."

Smith has been selected as a five-time Pro Bowl and a three-time All-Pro during his career.
