Steve Smith compares DeAndre Carter to Randall Cobb

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith believes that rookie teammate DeAndre Carter is like a "young Randall Cobb"

Steve Smith has said that rookie wide receiver DeAndre Carter is like a "young Randall Cobb" after seeing his Baltimore Ravens teammate in action during organised team activities.

The former Sacramento State receiver went un-drafted, but joined the AFC North side as a free agent, and has been working as a kickoff and punt returner with the Ravens this off-season.

The five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver told Baltimore's website: "I like [that] he's hungry. I just love his attitude. I see a young Randall Cobb in him."

Carter had 1,321 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in his final college season.
