Report: John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens agree contract extension

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh reportedly signs a four-year contract extension with the team.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has agreed a contract extension with the team, according to reports.

The Baltimore Sun claims that a new four-year deal has been agreed, while ProFootballTalk reports that the new contract will make him one of the NFL's highest paid coaches, with a salary of almost $7m (£4.5m) per year.

Harbaugh, who took charge of the team in 2008, had been due to reach the end of his contract next season.

The 50-year-old has led the team to a 63-30 record, playoffs every season, three AFC championship games and a win in last season's Super Bowl since being appointed.
