Ozzie Newsome 'disappointed' with Matt Elam

Linebacker Matt Elam has not impressed for the Baltimore Ravens, says general manager Ozzie Newsome.

Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome has revealed that the team are not happy with the performances of 2013 first-round pick Matt Elam.

The linebacker was graded as the worst defensive player on the Ravens squad last season, and Newsome has sent out a strong public message to the 23-year-old.

He told The Baltimore Sun: "I think it's readily known that we have not been satisfied with the way he's played thus far. And I don't think Matt has been satisfied with the way he's played thus far."

Elam started 11 games last season.
