Joe Flacco: 'Baltimore Ravens remain a work in progress'

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco believes that the team is still a work in progress this season.

Joe Flacco has admitted that the Baltimore Ravens are still a work in progress this season.

The current Super Bowl champions have won three of their five games so far this campaign and are level in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns.

The quarterback told reporters: "It's always going to be a work in progress. It's not going to be at its full potential in week six. And I honestly hope that it's not at its full potential in week six.

"We don't want to use all of our energy just to be as good as we can be in week six. We do want to be as good as we can be in week six, but hopefully week 17 is going to be better than that, and week 18 and week 19."

The Ravens play the Green Bay Packers in the NFL this weekend.
