Smith: 'No extra pressure on Falcons'

Mike Smith has said that the Atlanta Falcons are treating their playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks like any other game.

The Falcons have not won a post-season game since 2004, despite making the playoffs four times since then.

The head coach told reporters: "To me, it's no different than any other game. It's 100% on our football team to go out and play our best whether it's a pre-season game or a regular season game or whether it's a post-season game.

"I think every team that's playing in this tournament respects every other team. I don't think there's anybody not respecting the other teams.

"This is a very good football team. We feel like we've accomplished what we need to accomplish to get here."

The Falcons finished the regular season as the number one seeds in the NFC, securing a bye from the wildcard round last weekend.
