Smith hopes to get Robiskie "up to speed"

Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith hopes that wide receiver Brian Robiskie can quickly get to the level required to replace Julio Jones this season.

Robiskie was signed to the Falcons' roster following the news that Jones would miss the rest of the season as he requires surgery on his foot.

"Well, as we announced last night, we got the same diagnosis we got here in Atlanta, so Julio was put on injured reserve," Smith told the club's official website.

"We signed Brian Robiskie to replace him on our 53-man roster. Brian has played in this league, he has three or four years of experience, knows our offense, knows our verbiage. Hopefully, we can get him up to speed in a very quick fashion and get him ready to go."

The Falcons have won just one of their first five games this season.
