Atlanta Falcons sign rookie wide receiver

Undrafted rookie wide receiver Darius Johnson joins the Atlanta Falcons.

The Atlanta Falcons have announced that they have signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Darius Johnson.

The NFC South side are without top wideouts Julio Jones, who will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot, and Roddy White, who is recovering from a high ankle sprain.

Johnson spent the pre-season with the Falcons, recording 158 receiving yards and a touchdown from 13 catches.

Atlanta face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL later today.
