Falcons release three players

The Atlanta Falcons have released three of the players that helped them reach the NFC championship game earlier this year.

Running back Michael Turner, defensive end John Abraham and cornerback Dunta Robinson have all been cut from the team's roster.

The franchise has indicated that it is looking to bring in younger players, having played the 2012 NFL season with one of the oldest teams in the league.

All three of the players released are over 30.
