Report: Chris Johnson considering Arizona Cardinals offer

Running back Chris Johnson is reportedly considering a one-year contract offer from the Arizona Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals have reportedly offered a contract to running back Chris Johnson.

The 29-year-old left the New York Jets at the end of last season after a one-season spell in which he scored one touchdown.

ESPN claims that Cardinals coach Bruce Arians is not happy with his current options at running back and has offered a one-year deal to Johnson, who is considering his options.

If he signs, Johnson is expected to become the team's second choice behind Andre Ellington.
