Report: Alfonzo Dennard signs for Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have signed cornerback Alfonzo Dennard from the waiver wire, according to reports.

The Cardinals failed to address the position in the NFL Draft last week, but seem to have made amends by signing the 25-year-old.

Dennard was released by the New England Patriots earlier in the off-season, and NFL Media reports that he has completed a move to the NFC West side.

He is expected to be behind Patrick Peterson and Jerraud Powers in the pecking order.

Dennard started 20 games in three years for the Super Bowl champions.
