Arizona Cardinals' Eric Winston hits out at Miami Dolphins locker room

Eric Winston says that the Miami Dolphins locker room does not reflect the rest of the NFL.

Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Eric Winston has insisted that the recent locker room scandal at the Miami Dolphins is an isolated incident.

Dolphins player Richie Incognito has been accused of harassing Jonathan Martin by the NFL, and Winston has said that it does not reflect the locker rooms that he has been a part of.

"Not every locker room is like the Dolphins, that is a very big minority part of the NFL," NFL.com quotes Winston as saying. "Most locker rooms are fun to be in, are accepting of everybody, are good with young players.

"There are always going to be the jokes, the getting the rookies to go buy breakfast on Saturday morning, getting the rookies to dress up on Halloween, things like that. But Miami is just such an outlier - so to speak - of what really goes on in an NFL locker room."

Winston has played for the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs as well as Arizona.
