Arizona Cardinals sign Draft pick Deone Bucannon

The Arizona Cardinals have officially announced the signing of defensive back Deone Bucannon.

Bucannon was the team's first-round pick, with the player coming in as the Draft's number 27 overall choice last month.

It is thought that Bucannon has signed a four-year contract worth $7,709,200 (£4,587,400), with the option of a fifth year also available.

Should Arizona's new signing impress in the close-season, he could potentially sit alongside Tyrann Mathieu at safety come the start of the next campaign.
