Jamie Laing: 'Strictly haven't asked me back yet'

Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing says that he has not yet been approached for a second chance on Strictly Come Dancing.

Jamie Laing has admitted that he is still in the dark over whether he will be asked back for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 31-year-old was announced as part of the lineup for last year's show but a foot injury forced him to withdraw before the first episode.

As a result the Made In Chelsea star has been tipped to be given a second shot this year but speaking to This Morning yesterday, he revealed that the BBC has yet to approach him.

"I'll sit by my phone and wait," he said. "I had my chance last year and obviously I didn't do that well – it was the quickest exit ever.

"If they come calling this year then, yeah, I would love to dance and I would love to do it. But I just don't know at the moment."

Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher was brought in as a last-minute replacement for Laing and went on to win the series.
