Sharon Osbourne says that husband Ozzy is "doing well" after "a very major operation".

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that her husband Ozzy is "doing well" after undergoing major surgery over the weekend.

The 73-year-old rocker has battled multiple health conditions in recent years, including a Parkinson's diagnosis, neck issues and catching coronavirus two months ago.

Sharon has not confirmed why Ozzy needed surgery but described it as "a very major operation" which would "determine the rest of his life".

Updating fans via Instagram on Tuesday, she wrote: "Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy's surgery!

"Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him."

Sharon has been taking time off from appearing on her daily TalkTV show The Talk as Ozzy recovers.
