Boy George lists his Hampstead Heath mansion for sale for £17m.

Boy George has put his Hampstead Heath home on the market for an asking price of £17m.

The 61-year-old singer bought the property - grade II-listed and spanning over 5,400 sq ft - in the 1980s following Culture Club's breakout success and has spent the last three years having it renovated by renowned designer Kelly Hoppen.

The gothic house, which is in a prime spot overlooking the Heath in North London, features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two dressing rooms, a screening room and a meditation room.

It also includes sizeable front and back gardens, a roof terrace and a basement - the latter of which is currently being utilised as "a plant room".

George is said to have been living in Soho while the works have been completed, while his reason for selling the property - his home for almost 40 years - is unknown.
