Kardashian family announce multi-year deal with Hulu

The Kardashians announce a multi-year agreement with Hulu following their decision to end Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Disney has announced that it has signed up the Kardashian family to a multi-year deal to produce new "content" for its US-based streaming service Hulu.

The news comes months after the family, headed by Kris Jenner, revealed that their long-running fly-on-the-wall series for E!, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, will come to an end early next year.

Little is currently known about the form of the Kardashians' deal with Disney - and specifically if they will appear in a KUWTK-style show - although the company said that it expects to have their programming on air by late 2021.

A brief statement read: "Announced today at Disney's Investor Day, Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie will create global content, which will stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and in multiple territories on Star internationally.

"Expected debut is late 2021 and additional details will be shared when available."

Distribution of the shows in the UK, where neither Hulu or a mainstream Star network is available, is also unknown at present.
