Marvel's Eternals is to become available through Disney+ in the UK and Ireland from January 12.

Eternals will become available for streaming through Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on January 12, it has been announced.

The movie, which has an all-star cast including Salma Hayek, Richard Madden and Angelina Jolie, was released worldwide last month - around one year later than originally planned due to coronavirus.

During the pandemic, the window between films coming out on cinemas before arriving on home streaming has shrunk significantly, and in some cases movies have even been released via cinemas and home entertainment on the same day.

Eternals will be the next film to benefit from that procedure and will be available for all Disney+ customers on January 12 - just 68 days after it opened in cinemas.

Marvel's other two releases from earlier this year - Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - are already available on Disney+.
