Love Island summer 2022 champions Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti go their separate ways after 11 months together.

Love Island summer 2022 champions Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti have split up after 11 months together.

The pair were one of the most memorable couples in their series, becoming renowned for their fiery - and later passionate - exchanges.

After winning the show, they starred in their own ITV2 travelogue series called Homecomings and secured multiple sponsorship deals, but The Sun says that behind closed doors, things have soured.

Italy-born Sanclimenti was accused of cheating on Culculoglu - a Turkish actress - earlier in the year, and despite their best attempts they now appear to have been unable to put the past behind them.

Sanclimenti confirmed in a message on Instagram: "Ekin Su and I are no longer together.

"I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best.

"I would like for everybody to respect the decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible."

Culculoglu has yet to comment publicly on the breakup.
