Danny Dyer brands Love Island "a pile of s**t"

EastEnders actor Danny Dyer hits out at Love Island following his daughter's stint on the show.

EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has hit out at ITV's Love Island following his daughter Dani Dyer's stint on the reality show.

Dani, 24, appeared in the 2018 edition of the ITV2 hit, coupling up with Jack Fincham and sharing a £50,000 prize - although the pair split up just four months later.

During an appearance on The Ranganation, Danny discussed the new Netflix dating series Too Hot To Handle, where singletons are forbidden from being intimate with each other.

"I can see what they're trying to do," he said. "Sort of trying to do all this spiritual connection stuff, but I would have thought you need quite intelligent people on the show to have some sort of spiritual connection."

Admitting that he would rather Dani have gone on that show instead of Love Island, he added: "Yeah, also, the show's a pile of shit, Love Island, so that was the other thing I was worried about."

After splitting from Dani, Fincham went on to have a baby daughter with another woman and is currently said to be single.
