Olivia Attwood is forced to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.

Olivia Attwood has been forced to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after just 24 hours on medical grounds, ITV has confirmed.

The 31-year-old former Love Island star is said to have suffered a medical issue overnight and subsequently withdrew from the show on advice of doctors.

A spokesperson said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

"Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

In last night's launch show Attwood was shown to have been voted a jungle VIP - a 'Very Isolated Person' - and had to spend her first night stranded on an island with Chris Moyles, Boy George and Scarlette Douglas.

The full story of her departure is expected to feature in tonight's episode, which airs at 9pm on ITV.
