I'm A Celebrity: Jordan and Shane earn nine stars for camp

Jordan North and Shane Richie earn nine stars out of ten for camp in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'s Viper Vault trial.

Radio 1 DJ Jordan North and former EastEnders star Shane Richie earned nine stars for camp in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'s first viewer-voted trial - The Viper Vault.

The pair were locked into individual vaults in the floor of the castle and had 10 minutes to unlock 10 stars from various safes, having to work as a team to figure out the codes to unlock each one and release the stars.

As the name of the trial suggested, they were not alone in the vaults and as they began unlocking the safes, snakes started entering - much to Jordan's horror.

Despite the increasingly frightening surroundings, the pair managed to bag a ninth star just as the klaxon sounded, winning an almost complete meal for the camp.

The campmates were less than impressed when their meal for the evening finally arrived, however - eel.

"I've just been in a piggin' vault full of snakes and get home to my castle and I've got eel," complained Jordan. "Eating eel - fish snakes, not fish cakes. Nine stars for that? It was minging."

I'm A Celebrity continues Tuesday at 9.15pm on ITV.
