Bear Grylls to take part in I'm A Celebrity?

Bear Grylls is the latest name to be linked with this year's Wales-set series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Survival expert Bear Grylls has been linked with joining the lineup for this year's edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 46-year-old has fronted multiple adventure survival shows over the last decade - most recently The Island for Channel 4 - which would make him the most qualified contestant in the show's history should he take part.

Last week ITV confirmed that due to coronavirus this year's series has been switched from Australia to a castle somewhere in the UK, with Gwrych Castle on Wales's north coast thought to be the new location.

Bookmakers Coral have now made Grylls a 2/1 shot to take part, with a spokesman telling The Mirror: "Bear Grylls will be very much at home on I'm A Celeb and if he does enter the show, he is sure to prove very helpful to his campmates when it comes to surviving the series."

The new series begins in November.
