Aidan O'Callaghan joins the cast of EastEnders playing new bar manager Lewis Butler.

Aidan O'Callaghan has joined the cast of EastEnders playing Lewis Butler, the new bar manager of the Prince Albert.

The Irish actor, 33, is known for his roles in Wolfe, Somatic and The Rook, as well as the upcoming prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin.

Lewis will make his Walford debut next week and seems to instantly hit it off with Ben (Max Bowden) - but their plans for a night out are sullied when a group of homophobes heckle Lewis.

Later, a fuming Ben spots one of the guys and drags him into an alley, attacking him before being spotted in the act by Sharon (Letitia Dean).

Lewis arrives two months after the departure of the Albert's previous manager Mila (Ruhtxjiaih Bellenea).
