How I Met Your Mother will appear at Comic-Con for the first time ever this year, Fox have confirmed.
The Mother panel comes ahead of the show's ninth - and final - season, and follows the eventual reveal of the eponymous mother (Cristin Milioti) at the end of season eight. Cast members appearing include Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan.
Also on the Fox roster at Con are Bones and Sons of Anarchy, plus returning animations Family Guy, The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Futurama and American Dad.
New drama Sleepy Hollow, from Star Trek maestros Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, will receive its worldwide premiere in a special panel Thursday. The series is based on a 19th Century short story about a small town inhabited by ghosts.
Notably absent from the Fox roster is musical comedy Glee, which has had a presence at Con every year since its premiere.
