Lord Sugar lays into "obnoxious self-centred tosser" Piers Morgan

Lord Sugar launches a fresh attack on Good Morning Britain anchor Piers Morgan, branding him an "obnoxious self-centred tosser".

Lord Sugar has launched a fresh attack on former friend Piers Morgan, branding the Good Morning Britain host an "obnoxious self-centred tosser".

The pair have had a spectacular fallout over the last few months due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Sugar accusing Morgan of scaremongering and Morgan admonishing Sugar for not taking it seriously enough.

In a newspaper interview yesterday Morgan, who took last week off GMB through illness, admitted that his friendship with Sugar was "done" as a result of their disagreement.

Taking to Twitter after Morgan returned to GMB today, Sugar said: "@piersmorgan is back in full ratchet jaws motor mouth mode. It seems he is hyperactive spewing out Gov criticism. Looks like he has saved up material he can say in his week off. A bit like a squirrel in hibernation."

In a later post he wrote: "BREAKING: Her Majesty the Queen might announce one day that @piersmorgan is to receive an award. We have all heard of OBE, CBE, MBE. He is getting a OST Obnoxious self-centred t***er."

After receiving some backlash from followers in defence of Morgan, Sugar added: "You say he is trying to keep the Gov to account. Well someone has to keep @piersmorgan to account. That's me. He is winding up so many ordinary members of the public with his scaremongering."

Sugar went on to suggest that GMB co-host Susanna Reid has been "poisoned" into Morgan's way of thinking.
