Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to join Manchester United in the race to sign Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to rival Manchester United for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The 25-year-old has been a key figure in Leicester's promotion bid, having started 36 of his 38 Championship appearances prior to Saturday's home clash with Birmingham City.

Dewsbury-Hall has made a significant contribution to Leicester's attacking efforts, scoring 11 goals and providing 13 assists in the league this season.

The Englishman's impressive performances have led to speculation linking him with a summer move to Premier League giants Man United.

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham are set to join Man United in the race to secure Dewsbury-Hall's signature ahead of the 2024-25 season.

The report claims that Spurs have a positive relationship with the Foxes after agreeing a deal to sign James Maddison last summer.

However, Tottenham are not the only club ready to rival Man United, with Brighton & Hove Albion believed to be showing an interest.

The Seagulls are still considering a move for the Leicester man after allegedly failing with a bid in the January transfer window.

There has been a suggestion that Leicester could part ways with Dewsbury-Hall for as little as £25m if they fail to secure promotion to the Premier League.

However, they may be forced to sanction a sale even if they return to the top flight after they recently reported losses of £89.7m for the 13-month period to June 2023.

Spurs in the market for midfield reinforcements

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is looking to bolster his engine room, with two midfielders set to leave at the end of the season.

Spurs are ready to sanction departures for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso, who are both struggled for regular playing time this season.

Hojbjerg has started just six Premier League games this term, while Lo Celso has made Postecoglou's lineup in just four top-flight matches.

The Tottenham boss has ultimately preferred to utilise Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr as his first-choice central midfield pairing.
