The Team GB volleyball side have been beaten in straight sets by Australia in a Group A match at Earls Court.
Australia took control of the contest from the beginning with powerful plays that the British side failed to deal with and the first set was quickly wrapped up with a score of 25-15.
Team GB's failure to deal with a variation of serves was exposed in the second set and as the rallies continued to get shorter, Australia moved further ahead in the match with a 25-18 set victory.
The British supporters were treated to a much better performance from their team in the third set but it proved to be too late to make an impact as Australia recorded their first win at the Olympics.
