Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt insists that he is happy in Turin amid suggestions that Chelsea want to sign him.

Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt has insisted that he is happy in Turin amid suggestions that Chelsea could move for the Netherlands international in 2022.

The 22-year-old has made 79 appearances for Juventus since arriving from Ajax in July 2019, including four outings in all competitions at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.

Chelsea have recently been linked with the centre-back, while Real Madrid are thought to be interested in moving for the Dutchman at the end of the season.

De Ligt, though, has said that he 'feels good' at Juventus under the management of Massimiliano Allegri.

"I feel good, I feel good with Allegri too. He has a lot of attention for the defensive phase, it's very important, I worked a lot and I'm happy," De Ligt told reporters.

The defender still has three years left to run on his contract in Turin and has started three of his team's four matches in all competitions at the start of the new season.
