John Isner sets up a quarter-final encounter with Milos Raonic at the Rogers Cup following a three-set victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Eighth seed John Isner has set up a quarter-final encounter with Milos Raonic at the Rogers Cup following a three-set victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber.

The German took the first set 7-3 in the tie-break before Isner squared the contest with a 6-4 triumph in the second.

The American completed the turnaround as he broke his opponet to serve out the match 6-4.

Raonic got a walkover into the quarters following Andy Murray's withdrawal through injury.
