Dominika Cibulkova sees off Urszula Radwanska challenge

Dominika Cibulkova secures a 6-3 6-4 win against Urszula Radwanska in the Mexican Open.

Dominika Cibulkova has booked her spot in the second round of the Mexican Open with a straight-sets victory against Urszula Radwanska.

The number one seed had too much for her opponent, who struggled to hold serve throughout the match.

Cibulkova moved 2-0 ahead in the first set after holding her own serve and breaking Radwanska at the earliest opportunity. She was soon 5-2 up, and secured the set 6-) with a comfortable game.

Radwanska was more positive at the start of the second set, but was broken again to fall 3-2 behind.

Despite a small blip which saw her broken for the first time in the match, Cibulkova recovered to break back in the next game, and wrapped up the win to come through 6-3 6-4.
