Timea Bacsinszky fightback stuns Petra Kvitova

Timea Bacsinszky comes from behind to record a 2-6 6-0 6-3 win over Petra Kvitova in the fourth round of the French Open.

Timea Bacsinszky booked her place in the quarter-finals of the French Open after coming from behind to beat Petra Kvitova 2-6 6-0 6-3 in Paris this evening.

Kvitova, the number four seed, made a bright start and broke her opponent three times on the way to taking the opening set.

However, Bacsinszky came roaring back in the next set and cruised to a 6-0 win before holding firm to take the final set and the match.

The Swiss will now face Alison Van Uytvanck in the last eight.
