Result: Claire Cashmore qualifies fastest in SB8 breaststroke heats

Claire Cashmore qualifies quickest for the women's SB8 100m breaststroke final.

Britain's Claire Cashmore won her heat comfortably in the women's SB8 100m breaststroke this morning.

Cashmore swam 1:22:90 to finish ahead of Paulina Wozniak and Katarina Roxon.

In the second heat, reigning champion Olesya Vladykina won in a time of 1:23:12.

The 24-year-old missed out on a medal in the 100m butterfly on Thursday.

The final is at 6.29pm this evening.
