Super Rugby have debuted a 'Ref Cam' system that allows the viewer to watch the game from the position of the referee.

The new technology was used in a match between the Queensland Reds and New South Wales Waratahs, providing a unique insight into a number of elements of a rugby game.

The trial was deemed as a success and used again a week later.
