Result: Late Joe Westerman try snatches win for Hull

Hull come from behind late on to beat Salford City Reds 18-13 in the Super League.

Joe Westerman scored a try inside the final two minutes of the match to give Hull an 18-13 win over Salford City Reds.

Hull struggled to settle in the opening minutes of the match, allowing the visitors to apply pressure inside their opponents' territory.

Salford's strong start paid off when Ryan McGoldrick found the corner to score a try against his former team.

The home side hit back just a few minutes later, as Daniel Holdsworth found Joe Arundel out wide.

Danny Williams was able to restore Salford's advantage before half time, but Hull had a strong spell of possession just before the break.

The hosts continued their momentum at the start of the second half, resulting in an Aaron Heremaia try to level the scores again with 22 minutes still to play.

Marc Sneyd thought he had sealed the win for Salford late on with a drop goal, but Westerman crashed over the line in the final two minutes to give Hull the lead for the first time in the game.
