Catalans Dragons ease past Hull Kingston Rovers

Catalans Dragons move up to seventh in the Super League with a 32-18 win over Hull Kingston Rovers.

Catalans Dragons moved up to seventh in the Super League with a 32-18 win over Hull Kingston Rovers this evening.

Jason Baltieri got the hosts off to a good start when he went over the line on seven minutes, but the visitors responded with tries from Maurice Blair and Ben Cockayne before the half-hour mark.

However, Michael Oldfield touched down just before the break, and second-half tries from Eloi Pelissier, Benjamin Garcia and Elliott Whitehead took the game away from Rovers, despite an effort from Kieran Dixon.

Josh Mantellato, who struck four goals, claimed a late try for Hull, but it was the Dragons who took the points to climb three places and leave their opponents in ninth.
