Three-year-old Danedream wins the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

German horse Danedream has won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in hot conditions at Longchamp earlier today.

The three-year-old filly sprinted home easily to win ahead of Shareta in second place, while Snowy Fairy came in third.

Workforce, bidding to become the first horse to be victorious at back-to-back Arcs in 33 years, finished well adrift of the leading pack.

Many bookmakers were offering odds of 20/1 for Danedream to succeed in Paris prior to the race.
