Manchester United are 'still very keen' on signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly 'still very keen' on Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.

The 24-year-old, who is currently with the Portugal squad at Euro 2020, was again an important player for his Premier League club during the 2020-21 campaign, making 40 appearances in all competitions.

There have been suggestions that the midfielder is available for transfer this summer, though, with Wolves needing to offload some big names in order to fund reinvestment in the squad.

Talk of a potential move to Man United has cooled in recent weeks, but according to 90min, the 20-time English champions are still interested in bringing the Portuguese to Old Trafford.

The report claims that Bruno Fernandes has given a 'glowing reference' of his international teammate, who could be available for a fee in the region of £35m.

Neves, who has also recently been linked with a switch to Arsenal, has scored 20 times and registered 10 assists in 176 appearances for Wolves since arriving at Molineux from Porto.
