Denmark's Euro 2020 clash with Finland has been postponed after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch.

In the 40th minute of the Group B contest, Eriksen collapsed at the touchline with no players around him, and the Denmark players immediately called for medical assistance.

The Inter Milan attacker appeared to be receiving CPR from the medical staff on the field for around 10 minutes, with his teammates forming a guard around him.

The Euro 2020 contest in Copenhagen was eventually postponed as the treatment continued, with fans, staff and players visibly emotional due to the seriousness of the situation.

Finland's players were first to head to the dressing room, while the Denmark players continued to form a wall around their teammate.

"Fabrice Muamba, he pulled through - and that's all he can do. We don't know the news, so we can't make assumptions," said former Manchester City defender Micah Richards in the BBC studio.

Meanwhile, a number of players have taken to social media to show their support to Eriksen.
