An Irish footballer reportedly receives online abuse after allegedly featuring in a gay pornographic video.

An Irish footballer has reportedly suffered online abuse for allegedly featuring in a gay pornographic video.

The GAA player, who is due to play in a match this Sunday, is said to have used a pseudonym in the adult video, but his identity was visible.

Reports have claimed that the film featuring the father-of-one has gone viral online after it was uploaded via pay-per-view on a well-known gay porn website last month.

According to the Irish Independent, the footballer has been the subject of homophobic messages, which led him to delete his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

The report claims that the website which uploaded the video features 'straight men', who are convinced to carry out sex acts in exchange for money.
