Everton urge fans to buy Hillsborough charity single

Everton show their support to the Hillsborough charity single by projecting an image onto the wall of Anfield urging fans to get the song to number one in the charts.

Everton have urged their supporters to buy the Hillsborough charity single by projecting an image of their tribute to the 96 victims on the wall of Anfield.

The Toffees paid a touching tribute to the Liverpool fans that were killed during an FA Cup semi-final at the Hillsborough Stadium in 1989 earlier this season by bringing two mascots onto the field - one child wearing an Everton top with the number nine and the other in a Liverpool kit emblazoning number six on the back.

The Justice Collective have created a single with the proceeds going towards the legal costs of the families of the victims by covering a version of 1969 Hollies hit 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother'.

The image was projected onto the home of the Reds with the message, 'Let's make it No 1 together' as the group try to clinch the Christmas top spot on the charts.
