Tony Pulis has been told that he must pay former club Crystal Palace in excess of £3.5m after a Premier League mediation panel ruled against him in his long-running feud with owner Steve Parish.
The Welshman must hand back a survival bonus of £2m, which was earned by keeping the Eagles in the Premier League in 2013-14, while also being found liable to cover the legal fees for both sides.
A two-year battle finally ruled in favour of Parish, who was unhappy to see Pulis depart Selhurst Park shortly after taking the bonus payment ahead of schedule.
Parish had agreed to pay the now-West Bromwich Albion boss the full sum, but a mediation panel has now agreed that the multi-million pound figure should be paid back in full.
It is unknown if Pulis plans to appeal the decision.
