The ball boy kicked by Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard is reportedly due to inherit a £42m fortune from his hotel tycoon father Martin Morgan.

The Swansea City ball boy kicked by Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard last night is reportedly the son of hotel and property tycoon Martin Morgan.

Seventeen-year-old Charlie was at the centre of controversy last night when he appeared to have been kicked by Hazard, who was trying to retrieve the ball from the teenager during last night's League Cup semi-final second-leg goalless draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The ball boy is believed to be the son of Morgan, who has 11 hotel and property companies and is thought to be the 32nd richest man in Wales.

Just hours before the match last night, a Twitter account under the name of the 17-year-old, tweeted: "The king of all ballboys is back making his final appearance #needed #for #timewasting."

Former school friend of Charlie's Ben Watkins told the Daily Mail: "He must be the richest ball boy in football. He's mad about Swansea City. What he did was a bit foolish especially after be boasted he was going to time waste. I guess he's been a bit spoiled because his dad's got pots of money."

Hazard apologised to the teen after the clash.
